Jackson, R. Eugene
Biographical notes:
Richard Eugene Jackson was born in 1941 in Helena, Arkansas. After earning a doctorate at Southern Illinois University in 1971, he began teaching children's theatre and creative drama at the University of South Alabama. He became chairman of the Dramatic Arts Department in 1981. Many of Jackson's children's plays have been published and produced.
