Biographical notes:
Stuttson Benson lived in Pompey, Onondaga County, NY. His account book reveals that, while he earned the bulk of his income from agriculture, he also earned money by weaving cloth. His death is revealed on pp. 12 and 38 in settlements by the administrator of his estate in June 1820.
