Biographical notes:
Formed as the Lubbock, Texas Women's Club by 37 Lubbock women, and joined the Texas Federation of Women's Clubs in 1933. Changed the name to Lubbock Women's Study Club in 1957. Purpose of club is to promote general education, personal improvement, and the social and civic progress of Lubbock, Texas.
