Biographical notes:
Daughter of Assumption, Illinois jeweler Frank Homrighous (1867- 1947) and his wife Claire Day, Marie Watson was married to Leland T. Watson and resided in Davenport, Iowa.
Marie Watson's father invested in farm property in Shelby County, Illinois and willed an 120 acre farm near Assumption to her. She leased her property from 1947 to 1984 to tenant farmer Leon Davis, and to Ron Throneburg from 1985 to 1991 when the farm was sold. Marie's brother-in-law Glenn Lovering of Assumption served as manager for the property.
