Edward Everett Hale (1893-1975) was an economist, government official, labor arbitrator and University of Texas at Austin Professor of Economics and Chairman of the University of Texas Department of Economics. Before joining the University of Texas, he served as a director of the San Antonio Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas (1948-1950).
