Severns Valley Baptist Church (Elizabethtown, Ky.)

Constituted June 18, 1781, the first church in the territory of Kentucky. The minutes alternate between the Severn's Valley and Nolin Baptist Churches, until March 12, 1803 when a new church was constituted at Nolin. In April, 1818, the church voted to join citizens in Elizabethtown in building a new meeting house.
