Gary Stevenson served as an organizer and business agent for the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT), Local 810, from 1977 to 1987. Local 810 represents laborers in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania who work in a variety of occupations, including truck drivers, metal and machine shop workers, and lab and manufacturing technicians.
