Biographical notes:
Missionary and pastor; born January 30, 1909; nicknamed Dick; BA from Whitman College, 1931(?), BTh from Princeton Theological Seminary, 1935; attended Moody Bible Institute; married Marion Elizabeth Tucker, 1935; worked in China with China Inland Mission, 1936-1944, and Pocket Testament League, 1947-1950; pastored a church in US, 1952-1957; worked with Overseas Missionary Fellowship on correspondence courses and literature distribution in Taiwan, 1958-1964; worked among Taiwanese mountain people, 1966-1969; preached in English-speaking church in Taiwan, 1971-1975; retired, 1976; died, 1995.
