Marni Nixon, known as the singing voice of the stars, is best known for her dubbing work in motion pictures. Born in California, she is an accomplished singer who has sung opera and classical music as well as appearing on Broadway. Her dubbing credits include the singing voice of Maria in West Side Story for Natalie Wood, the singing voice of Anna in The King and I for Deborah Kerr and the singing voice of Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady for Audrey Hepburn. Nixon has also appeared in a touring company of Cabaret as Fraulein Schneider and as the singing voice of Grandma Fa in the Disney release Mulan as well as in many other roles.
