Biographical notes:

Selina and her husband, Peter Warden, moved to Milan Township (Washtenaw County, Mich.) from N.Y. (State). They were farmers . Together they had four children: Alonzo, Adelia, Fred, and Frank. Kathy Lutz is descended from Frank's first daugther, Ruth Bollinger. (Information from the collection.) Benjamin J. Clark enlisted and was mustered on Sept. 27, 1861 at Unadilla (Mich.). He returned from being missing in action, Nov. 14, 1862 and was honorably discharged on Sept. 27, 1864. (Information from the regimental history.) Prof. Dain taught history at Central Michigan University. The Clarke Historical Library has many copies of his books, as well as his papers.
