Biographical notes:

Isidor Enselman was born in 1888 in New York City. He received his law degree from New York University School of Law, class of 1909. Enselman's career included posts as a lawyer as well as Special Deputy Attorney General; he was a member of the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States, trial counsel, participating in numerous important and leading cases. He was a member of the New York Country Lawyers Association; National Democratic Club; B'nai B'rith; Temple Beth Emeth of Flatbush; and the National Conference of Christians and Jews; he as also a founder of the Federation for Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies of New York.
