Biographical notes:

The Anesthesiology Department is part of The George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences. The department is responsible for providing care to patients during surgery by providing anesthesia. The physicians are either board-certified or board-eligible and have completed extensive training in their specialty and subspecialty areas. The team provides a wide range of anesthesia services from basic inpatient and outpatient services, to the subspecialties of cardiac, obstetrical, ambulatory and neurosurgical anesthesia, in addition to acute and chronic pain management. The Critical Care Division of the Department of Anesthesiology contributes to the overall continuity of care for patients who require the expertise of the intensivist.
