International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. District Lodge 162.
Biographical notes:
IAM District Lodge 162 was formed in the 1940s to support Local Lodges 1426 and 1637. The District helped organize companies and offered legal and administrative aid to its locals. In the early 1970s Local Lodge 2478 joined the District. Ten years later only one local was left because of plant closings and the District no longer exists.
