Dorothy Knowles (b. March 28, 1906, Johannesburg, South Africa–d. Nov. 10, 2010, London, England) was an academic and fencer. Known also as Diana, she taught at Liverpool University until her retirement in 1984. An expert on French theater, she also is known for criticizing the British Board of Film Censors for political censorship.
