Biographical notes:

Juneau businessman. A founder of Alaska Electric Light and Power Co., ass't. supt. of the Treadwell mines from 1899-1900. Corbus left the Alaska Treadwell Gold Mining Co. soon after 1900 and moved to Calif. He conducted business from outside Alaska with occasional trips to the territory. He died in Los Gatos, Calif. on Nov. 1933. At the time of his death Corbus was president of AELP and principal stockholder in that company as well as the Juneau Ferry and Navigation Co.
