Founded in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, in April 1943; local society of the national organization of boys or girls whose lineage can be traced to a man or women who served the cause of American independence; sponsored by the Daughters of the American Revolution; named after John Dodd, a Revolutionary soldier from Virginia; promotes patriotism and good citizenship; disbanded mid to late 1960s.
