Hovey, Charles Smith, b. ca. 1820
Biographical notes:
A native of New York, Charles Smith Hovey (b. ca. 1820) fought in the Confederate Army during the Civil War and worked in the cattle trade in Goliad and Refugio counties, Texas. His siblings, Ann and Frank lived in New York.
