Biographical notes:

Free-lance writer and novelist. Born in 1924, long-time resident of Lubbock, Texas. Became a hairdresser at the age of 20 and owned her own business for 20 years. Studied writing at the University of Oklahoma. Published her first magazine article in 1963 in "Guideposts." Has published over 150 articles and short stories. Author of "Tender Tyrant: The Legend of Pete Cawthon."
