Concord Preparative Meeting was established in 1700. At the time of the Hicksite Separation of 1827, two branches of this meeting were formed. The Orthodox preparative meeting was discontinued after 1909. The Hicksite preparative meeting was discontinued in 1914 and its business assumed by Concord Monthly Meeting.
