Biographical notes:
Hirzel (1885-1977) was a master mechanic at the Dow Chemical Company. He lived in Moorestown, Missaukee County (Mich.) and collected and researched county history. His photograph collection, published by the Missaukee County History Center in 1993, is also at the Clarke Historical Library.
