The company was located in Montgomery, Montgomery Co., Ala., incorporated under the laws of Ala. on 1902 Dec. 30, and capitalized at $25,000, by A.S. Knowles and A.H. Munger. There were five stockholders in the company, with A.H. Munger owning stock worth $19,997 and becoming chairman of the board, W.P. Munger owning stock worth $5,000, and A.S. Knowles, W.C. Bostwick, and G.T. Key owning stock worth $1 each. The officers of the corporation were: A.S. Knowles, president, treasurer, and general manager; W.C. Bostwick, vice-president; and G.T. Key, secretary. The many changes in the officers and board of directors of the company are noted in the minutes, as is the death of Knowles on 1908 Feb. 10, and the increased capitalization of the company to $100,000.
