Austin G. Day Caoutchouc Company founded 1854; in 1902 reorganized as H.P. & E. Day, Inc.; in 1946 became part of L.E. Waterman Company (also known as Waterman Pen Company); manufacturer of hard rubber chiefly used in fountain pens.
