In 1980, Alain Seznec was part of a Cornell delegation to China, led by Cornell president Frank Rhodes. Other participants included then-Provost Keith Kennedy; Tom Everhart, Dean of the College of Engineering; Alison Casarett, Dean of the Graduate School); and five faculty members.
