Scott Morrow is a resident of Mount Gilead in Montgomery County, N.C. He has been a transfer truck driver for many years. He also became a river outfitter four years before this oral history interview was done. Mr. Morrow speaks knowledgeably about the Uwharrie National Forest area since he is familiar with the Uwharrie River, the river banks, and nearby sites.
