Biographical notes:
Beat Paul Sterchi wurde am 12.12.1949 in Bern geboren. Schriftsteller. Nach einer Metzgerlehre wanderte Sterchi nach Amerika aus. Er studierte Anglistik 1971-1975 an der Universität von Columbia und 1976-1977 an der McGill University in Montreal, arbeitete danach als Englisch- und Deutschlehrer in Honduras und Montreal und lebt heute in Bern und Chiva de Morella (Spanien), wo er ein Haus besitzt. Bekannt wurde Sterchi mit seinem Roman "Blösch" (1983), für den er mehrfach ausgezeichnet wurde.
