Alfred Henry Forrester, English illustrator and writer. He and his brother, Charles Robert Forrester, collaborated on literary works under the name "Alfred Crowquill." He continued to use the pseudonym after his brother's death in 1850, and became a prolific and popular illustrator of comic books and children's books.
