The general background to these events some 115 miles west of Kirtland is admirably provided in the recipient's autobiography, mentioning Biddlecom and also the "misrepresentation, slandersm and denunciations, and virulent condemnations" suffered in early 1837.-Memoirs of the Life of Nathaniel Stacy ... Daniel R. Biddlecom (1805-1885) was a Universalist preacher in Ohio.
Daniel R. Biddlecom was born in July 1805 in Deerfield, Oneida, New York. He married Mary Ann Edmondson 26 May 1842 in Dayton, Montgomery, Ohio. Daniel R. Biddlecom was a well-known Universalist preacher in Ohio. He was known in the West as a minister of the Restitution. He died 19 December 1885 in Richmond, Wayne, Indiana.
