VerMeulen, James Marinus, 1905-1986.
Biographical notes:
VerMeulen graduated from Hope College in 1926. He went to work for American Seating Company soon after graduation. Steadily working up in rank, he was named president in 1958. He became chairman of the American Seating board in 1969, then retired in 1970. VerMeulen was also a member of the Hope College Board of Trustees from 1968-1986.
