American sculptor.
Jones, a native of Alabama, has been a full time studio sculptor, located in Florida since 1975. He received a BFA from University of Florida in 1992. Jones concentrates his work on themes close to nature, the sea, and tropical plant life. He uses copper or brass for his work--welding, brazing, and finishing them with a natural or patined surface.
