Little is known about the life of Lura McLane Smith (1885-1979). Her husband’s missionary service took her to Korea in the 1940s. She kept a record of missionary activities (from reports to newspaper articles) on the activities of other missionaries in the western Pacific. Her husband, Roy K. Smith (1885-1958) was a Presbyterian medical missionary in Korea, in Seoul and Mason.
