Biographical notes:
Established in 1897, the Committee on Press and Extension was superseded by the Committee on Business Affairs. It supervised the management of the University Extension and the University Press. It established general policy for the press, authorized the publication of books and journals, and ratified the actions of the Administrative Committee of the University Press.
