The Ninth Ward Citizens Voter's League, organized in 1958 and chartered in 1960, is the oldest African-American civic organization in New Orleans's Ninth Ward.
The Ninth Ward Citizens Voter's League seeks to improve the physical, civic, and political conditions in New Orleans's Ninth Ward through voter education and registration, political endorsements, and lobbying for better conditions.
