Chase, Marvin
Biographical notes:
Marvin L. Chase was Washington State's Hydraulic Engineer. He was the supervisor of hydraulics for the Division of Water Resources for the Dept. of Conservation and Development. He held the position of Chairman of the State Reclamation Board until he resigned his chairmanship over a dispute about the removal of an engineer from the Board. In Mar. 1919 he was assigned the position of Chairman of the Columbia Basin Survey Commission, which he ran for many years.
