Biographical notes:
Family of merchant, banker, and landowner Isaac Peck of Flushing, New York; including his father, steamboat captain Jonathan Richard Peck; his son, Isaac Peck II; and their respective spouses. In partnership with his brothers, and later, his sons, Isaac Peck's business ventures included the largest general store in western Long Island, extensive waterfront ownership, and lumberyard businesses.
