Biographical notes:
Alistatia Gliddon, friend of the poet and critic Leigh Hunt. She and her husband, Arthur Gliddon (1788-1862) ran a tobacco shop and coffee-house on Tavistock Street in London, which sold Hunt's journal The Indicator beginning in May 1820.
