Biographical notes:
Teacher, Tucson, Ariz.; began a Mexican folklore club at Carrillo School in 1933 to encourage interest in the music, art and drama of Mexico. In 1936 she introduced to her students the tradition of "las posadas," and began staging "posadas" processionals during the Christmas season.
