Washington Roadside Council

Biographical notes:

The Washington Roadside Council was formed in 1961 to combat "visual blight" on Washington State's highways: billboards, utility poles, powerlines, and road signs. It worked to pass legislation to regulate the presence of these items along Washington's roads.
