Presbyterian Church in the U.S. Presbytery of Upper Missouri

Presbytery erected, 1844 by the PCUSA; a part of the presbytery broke away in 1867 and formed a Presbytery of Upper Missouri under the independent Synod of Missouri until 1874 when it joined the PCUS. In 1879, the presbytery merged into Lafayette Presbytery, but was reestablished in 1882; Upper Missouri dissolved, 1961.
