Biographical notes:
Harold Freed (1890-1969), a Jewish Lithuanian, emigrated to the United States at age 18, received his medical degree from the University of Texas at Galveston, and worked as a physician in Colorado and Texas.
He was married to Ester Freed and had two daughters, Marian and Ava Lou.
