Whaling vessel; out of New Bedford, Mass.; mastered by Walter Taber (until leaving ship from illness 23 Oct. 1845) and then Hammond; on voyage from 4 Oct. 1845-8 May 1848; owner-agent: T. & A.R. Nye; built at Rochester, Mass., 1842; altered to bark in 1875; wrecked 1881.
