Biographical notes:
Indian pastor, administrator and church leader; born April 7, 1937, in Madras; converted at a Youth For Christ meeting in Madras, ca. 1954; committed his life to full-time Christian service, 1961; BS from Madras Christian College (1955), BDiv from Union Biblical Seminary (1965), MTh from Princeton Theological Seminary (1971), MA in Intercultural Studies from Wheaton College (1994); worked as a chemist, 1955-1962; assistant pastor at Methodist church in Madras, 1965-1967; pastor of Methodist churches in eastern Malaysia and as District Superintendent for the newly formed Tamil Conference of the Methodist Church, 1967-1970; on faculty of Union Biblical Seminary, 1971-1972; circuit pastor of three Methodist churches in Malaysia; 1972-1974; pastor in Kuala Lumpur of the largest Indian church in Malaysia and as District Superintendent, 1974-1976; Associate Secretary and then Secretary for Christian Education of the Evangelical Fellowship of India, 1976-1991; General Secretary of the Evangelical Fellowship of India, 1984-
