Biographical notes:
The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Resources Environmental Quality Board held public hearings in regards to proposed amendments to the Air Pollution Control Act of January 8, 1960 to conform to Federal Ambient Air Quality Standards prescribed in the Clean Air Act. The hearings were advertised as required by law in the legal columns of newspapers of general circulation throughout the commonwealth. The hearings were held at the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia, Pa., December 2, 1971 and January 14, 1972; William Penn Museum Auditorium in Harrisburg, Pa., December 2, 1971; and the Bell Telephone Assembly Room in Pittsburgh, Pa., December 3-4, 1971.
