The Drury Trust Co Ltd was a property holding company based at 57 West Regent Street, Glasgow, Scotland , and was a subsidiary of Maclachlans Ltd , Edinburgh, Scotland . In 1923 the business, under directors Robert Macfarlan , a chartered accountant, and James Craig Gatheral, a writer with a company named Wright Johnston & McKenzie , became a limited liability company. In 1924 the major shareholders were Robert Macfarlan, James Craig Gatheral, William Johnstone , and Norman McLeod . James Craig Gatheral died in 1925, and Robert Macfarlan died in 1962. The company went into voluntary liquidation on 11 August 1965 , and the company books and papers were handed over by the liquidator to J & R Tennent Ltd , Glasgow.
