Margaret Halsey, an author, was born February 13, 1910, in Yonkers, New York. She received a B.S. from Skidmore College in 1930 and an M.A. from Columbia University in 1936. She worked as a secretary from 1930-35 and became an author in 1938. She has written 7 books including "With Malice Toward Some" (1938), "Color Blind" (1946), and "The Corrupted Giant" (1963).
