Weinmann's works in Viennese music publishing are included in the Beiträge zur Geschichte des Alt-Weiner Musikverlages series. He also published a number of articles in the field of musicology in the Österreichische Musikzeitschrift. He was a contributor to the Répertoire international des sources musicales and the New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians, and a co-editor of L. von Köchel: Chronologisch-thematisches Verzeichnis sämtlicher Tonwerke Wolfgang Amadé Mozarts (Sixth Edition).
