Founded in 1903, the Alliance is a fraternal insurance organization which also aids community youth programs, educational, and charitable institutions, and grants college scholarships to members. The Alliance has a membership of approximately 15,000 and 155 branches nationally. It publishes The Polish Weekly Times, and is headquartered in Brooklyn, New York.
