Secretary of the Oberlin College Alumni Association (1942-48, 1953) and Assistant to the President (1949-1953).
Born in New Haven, Connecticut in 1908; graduated from Oberlin College in 1933. In 1942, Harris began his work as Alumni Association Secretary. President Stevenson appointed him as presidential assistant (1949) and he returned to the Alumni Association in 1953. He died in 1990.
