Moccasin (Assiniboine), 1853-1935.
Biographical notes:
Mocassin was born in 1853, a member of the Assiniboine Tribe. He served as a scout for General Miles during the Nez Percé War. He continued to serve off and on as a scout until 1881. He married Dancing Dog and they had several children. Mocassin died June 5, 1935.
