Crockett County Historical Society (Ozona, Tex.)
Biographical notes:
Organized in 1881, Crockett County is located in southwest Texas in the Edwards Plateau Region. The first settlements were supply depots. The county seat is Ozona, and the economy is based on oil and livestock production.
