The Planning Office is a division of the Department of Planning and Development of the County of Santa Clara.

The Planning Office's main role is to plan and regulate land use and development in unincorporated Santa Clara County. The office's duties include: maintaining general plan and zoning ordinances, implementing planning studies, reviewing zoning and development applications, and monitoring major building projects.
